It is a long seasoned wood, that has then been kept at conditions similar to home for at least a few weeks. It comes mainly from gardens and small farms. The attributes of such wood are low-energy, sustainable, eco-friendly process of obtaining and drying. The wood has a natural colour, unaltered by heat drying. It is less brittle and less prone to chipping when working with hand tools. It contains 8-12% moisture which occurs at 40-60% natural air humidity at home.
